Freering, The High-Performance Low-Friction Ring in Alu 7075
Ideal for the Titan-Lifting® | Heavy Handling & Power Winching range "Static performance for extreme loads"
Concept description : The Freering is a new-generation low-friction ring, designed for force operations where traditional bearing pulleys reach their limits. Machined in Aluminium 7075 (a high-strength alloy), it is the ideal replacement for heavy, cumbersome sheave blocks. Combined with a Dyneema® textile connector, it becomes an indispensable tool for 4x4 winching, forestry, marine hauling and rescue.
Materials Science & Processing: The secret of its longevity lies in its Hard Anodizing treatment:
Molecular structure: 50% of the oxide layer develops as an overthickness and 50% by penetration into the metal, ensuring enhanced structural rigidity.
Slip coefficient: Optimized to maintain minimum friction under massive tensile loads.
Corrosion protection: Certified 300-hour resistance to salt spray (nickel salt sealing), guaranteeing total protection in marine environments.
The 3 Pillars of Freering Performance
1. Compliance & Industrial Safety (Zero Compromise)
Machinery Directive 2006/42/CE: Designed and certified for lifting and pulling.
Total reliability: No moving mechanical parts. Zero risk of axle seizure or bearing failure under extreme load.
Load control: Allows safe descent by using controlled friction (double or triple rope passage) as a holding brake.
Traceability: Individual serial marking for rigorous management of periodic inspections (VGP).
2. Dyneema® & Friction Technology (Gross Power)
Force-to-weight ratio: Up to 10 times lighter than a steel pulley, limiting dangerous kinetic energy in the event of breakage.
Totally insensitive: Unlike conventional sheaves, it is not affected by sand, mud or frost.
High-capacity reeving: Optimized for 180° work, it halves the pulling effort to increase your winch's strength tenfold.
3. Operational agility (Field efficiency)
Universal installation: Connects instantly to textile shackles, slings or hooks. Its compact design allows access to the tightest spaces.
3-in-1 tool: Can be used as a pulley block, reeving point or "heart thimble" protection for your slings.
Line preservation: mirror-polished surface protects ropes from thermal overheating and premature wear.
Lab Innovation Tip
Choose your low-finish ring. For operations in coastal environments or on ship decks, choose FrD Anthracite: its treatment is specifically dosed to neutralize the aggressiveness of chloride ions in salt. For construction sites or factory hoisting, FrA Gris Clair offers very high resistance.
