Range : Lab Innovation | Lifting, Pulling & Hostile Environments
Concept description: The MS® HL (High Load) Shackle is a new-generation flexible textile connector designed to replace steel shackles in the most critical handling operations. Made from Dyneema® fiber with a self-locking structure, it offers exceptional resistance to high loads, while being 10 times lighter than an equivalent metal shackle.
Performance & Industrial Safety: This technical connector meets the productivity and safety requirements of leading-edge sectors:
Industry & Construction: Effortless handling for lifting heavy structures and equipment.
Winching & Towing: Ideal for unlocking heavy vehicles or industrial towing.
Forestry & Pruning: Perfect for skidding and handling suspension cables.
Hostile environment: Insensitive to corrosion, salt attack and vibration, unlike steel.
Technical applications: The MS® HL Shackle is the perfect interface for connecting your ends (cables, straps, pulleys, rings):
Line tensioning: Used to lift or tension carrier/tractor cables (ø 12 mm to ø 56 mm) via a lever hoist (type Yale ERGO 360).
Static connection: Ultra-secure connection between a fixed mooring point and a traction line.
Major advantages :
Lightweight Revolutionary: Drastically reduces work drudgery and the risk of injury from falling metal parts.
Equipment protection: Its flexibility prevents marking and crushing of painted or fragile surfaces.
Passive safety: In the event of failure under tension, the textile shackle stores no dangerous kinetic energy (no "cannonball" effect).
The MS® High Load textile shackle is a flexible textile connector made of ultra-light, highly resistant Dyneema®.
Fields of application
Operation
The Textile Locking Shackle is used to lift the carrying or hauling rope, by means of a lever hoist (type Yale ERGO 360) connected to a fixed mooring point and from the other end to the rope (ranging in diameter from ø 12 mm to ø 56 mm), both static.
It can be used to connect cables and slings in hostile environments, or to tow heavy vehicles.
