Adjustable Textile Shackle T-close K® | Dyneema® SK78 | Nodus Factory Industry

Adjustable Textile Dyneema Shackle | T-close K® Shackle

Nodus factory

Concept description: T-close K is the essential textile alternative to traditional metal shackles for industry.

Designed for maintenance, suspension and light to heavy handling, it features an adjustable buckle that instantly adapts to load configuration. Its lightness and flexibility make it the perfect tool for securing equipment without the risk of impact or scratching machined parts.

Patented product WO 2014/140483

Engineering & Materials :

  • T-close connector: Manufactured in glass-filled Technical Polyamide (Pa Tech), guaranteeing dimensionally stable closure and resistance to industrial impact.

  • Structural core: 100% Dyneema® SK78 (12 spindles), pre-stretched and sized. Very high-modulus fiber with virtually zero elongation.

  • Protective sheath (Ks model): A 48-strand Dyneema® sheath for intensive use in contact with sharp edges or abrasive surfaces.

The 3 Pillars of Industrial Performance

1. Operational adaptability (The universal tool)

  • Multi-diameter: A single reference capable of connecting to a variety of anchoring points (eyelets, plates, slings).

  • Millimetre adjustment: its sliding loop makes it possible to adjust the length of the link without tools, ideal for balancing asymmetrical loads.

  • Zero damage: Unlike steel, it won't damage paints, surface treatments or threads during handling.

2. Safety & Ergonomics (personnel protection)

  • Lightweight (80% gain): drastically reduces drudgery and the risk of musculoskeletal disorders (MSD) during repetitive handling.

  • Anti-Projection safety: In the event of accidental breakage, the absence of metal eliminates any risk of mass projection, thus protecting operators and machines.

  • Bague Block® locking: A flexible elastomer ring (TPE) holds the connector in the closed position, even under no-load conditions.

3. Resistance to harsh environments

  • Extreme durability: Insensitive to corrosion, chemicals (common acids/bases) and dusty environments.

  • Load capacity: Certified breaking load from 380 kg up to 4,800 kg for the highest-performance models (for higher loads, contact us for K HL parts)

  • Maintenance-free: No greasing required. A simple visual inspection is all that's required for periodic checks.

ADJUSTABLE TEXTILE SHACKLE | T-close K® K

High-performance adjustable flexible connector

Visit K® T-close is a versatile textile connector designed to replace traditional mechanical links (steel shackles, carabiners). Thanks to its adjustable Dyneema® SK78, with its ultra-lightweight, ergonomic and non-abrasive design, it allows millimetric adjustment of the connection length, providing an ergonomic, non-abrasive solution for demanding industrial environments.

Specifications Materials

  • T-close connector : High-density glass-filled thermoplastic polyamide (PA Tech).

  • Structural Soul : 100% Dyneema® SK78 (12 spindles), pre-stretched and sized.

  • Surgaine (Ks model - Technical range) : Highly abrasion-resistant Dyneema® 48-spindle protective sheath.

  • Locking : Block® ring in soft TPE thermoplastic for holding in closed position.

Technical specifications

  • Breaking range : From 380 kg à 4,100 kg (depending on diameter).

  • Thermal stability : Operational use of -40°C to +80°C.

  • Physical-Chemical Resistances :

    • UV & Humidity : Excellent (hydrophobic, no loss of water resistance).

    • Abrasion & Cuts : Very high (especially on sheathed Ks models).

    • Corrosion : Total (insensitive to salt, common acids and bases).

Operational benefits in industry

  • Weight gain : Up to 80% lighter than an equivalent steel shackle (reduced drudgery and risk of RSI).

  • Active Security : No risk of metal splashing in the event of accidental breakage.

  • Surface Protection : Soft textile that won't damage machined parts, keels or painted coatings.

  • Ergonomics : Quick, tool-free, one-hand installation. No risk of losing the shaft (one-piece system).

Industrial Applications & Maintenance

  • Preventive maintenance : Suspending and temporarily holding cables, ducts or tools.

  • Precision handling : Connection between spreaders and fragile loads.

  • Logistics & Lashing : Secure fastening of containers or sensitive equipment.

  • Working at heights : Lightweight connector for carrying tools and safety equipment.

The 3 Points of Industrial Safety

  1. Adjustment under load : The loop locks mechanically as soon as it is switched on. Adjustment must always be carried out without load.

  2. Safety Bague Block® : Indispensable in industry to prevent the shackle from coming loose during handling or vibration when not under tension.

  3. Visual inspection : Dyneema® SK78 fiber allows rapid inspection. Any sign of excessive linting or cutting of the sheath requires immediate replacement of the connector.

Industrial Applications

Application Using T-close K
Maintenance & Works Temporary suspension of tooling, maintenance of conduits or wiring.
Precision Lifting Connection between sling and fragile part (aeronautics, automotive).
Logistics & Transport Secure, flexible stowage of pallets or specific crates.
