Concept description: Textile-Fuse® is a high-tech "fuse" textile connector designed to provide a secure connection between two structural elements. It acts like a mechanical circuit-breaker: if stress limits are exceeded (storms, snow accumulation, accidental overloads), it reduces stress on the structure, or deliberately breaks to preserve the integrity of fixed anchors on the facade.
3-state safety architecture: The device offers a graduated response to increased tension:
Working Voltage: Total fuse integrity under normal working load.
Service Limit Voltage (SLV): Partial opening of the fuse to release the voltage. This state provides a visual warning that the rated load has been exceeded.
Ultimate Limit Voltage (TLR/TLU): Total, controlled failure to release the structure and protect the fixed anchor plate on the facade from being pulled out.

Shade sails and textile structures.
Passive safety: automatically feathers structures under extreme load to protect people and property.
Technical specifications & Compliance
Composition: 100% Polyester PES® or Dyneema® webbing, pre-stretched and smeared, depending on desired breaking point.
Protection: HDPE polyolefin protective sheath for enhanced outdoor durability.
Manufacturing: 100% Made in France at Nodus Factory.

Machine Directive 2006/42/CE: Compliant as a connecting accessory and integrated safety device.
Eurocode 3 (EN 1993): Can be integrated into structural steel design notes as a load-limiting device.
NF EN 1263-1: Standard used for dynamic rupture and energy absorption test protocols.
EN 795 (Anchoring): Certification available on request for configurations suspended above the public.
