Block-Ring®, High Friction Gyroscopic Violin Pulley
Low-friction double pulley "The power of reeving, the freedom of textile"
Concept description: Optimize your reeving systems with the Block-Ring®, a revolutionary gyroscopic violin pulley. Comprising two low-friction rings mounted on a flexible Dyneema® textile axle, it offers unrivalled versatility. This device redefines efficiency: by replacing mechanical sheaves with high-performance rings, you get total freedom of movement and extreme strength for a derisory weight.
Textile Engineering & Dynamic Alignment: Thanks to its gyroscopic design, the Block-Ring® automatically aligns itself with the axis of effort, eliminating rope twisting. It's the perfect tool for multiplying your force via 3:1 or 4:1 hoists while maintaining a compact installation.
Features & Function :
Force multiplication: Ideal for reeving heavy loads and building complex hoists (cascade or 4:1).
Modular braking effect: Can be used as a secure holding brake by passing the rope twice or three times through the rings.
Zero mechanics: No ball bearings. Totally unaffected by dust, sand, mud or corrosion.
Dyneema® pin: Offers exceptional strength-to-weight ratio and greater safety than rigid metal pins (no risk of shattering).
Applications: Block-Ring® is the ultimate multi-purpose solution:
Pruning & Forestry: Controlled removal, retention and guidance of branches.
Offroad & Towing: Vehicle towing and angle deviation in harsh environments.
Industry & Construction: Precise load handling and securing of mobile anchorage points.
Rescue: Lightweight, ultra-compact evacuation systems for confined or difficult environments.
Technical specifications
Materials: Hard-anodized 7075 aluminum rings and high-tenacity Dyneema® fiber textile shaft.
Conformity: Certified to Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC.
Compatibility: Can be used with all types of synthetic textile rope.
Precautions & Safety
Use: Intended exclusively for material handling and lifting (do not use for lifting people).
